Middlesex star named in Australia Ashes squad
Australia have named their squad for this years Ashes series.
Andrew Symonds, Shaun Tait and Brad Hodge are some of the big names not included.
But Brett Lee and Stuart Clark have been deemed fit enough to be picked by the Aussie selectors, as has all-rounder Shane Watson.
As expected Middlesex’s Phil Hughes also makes the sixteen-man squad.
Full Squad: Ricky Ponting (Captain), Michael Clarke, Stuart Clark, Brad Haddin, Nathan Hauritz, Ben Hilfenhaus, Phillip Hughes, Michael Hussey, Mitchell Johnson, Simon Katich, Brett Lee, Grahma Manou, Andrew McDonald, Marcus North, Peter Siddle, Shane Watson
