Missing Live is back on the Beeb

The popular morning programme which focusses on missing people, is back for its third series.

This week, a number of people from the Jackie area have been featured on the programme including these;


AMES GLOVER missing from Ealing
DOB: 21-Aug-1989
Missing Date: 05-Feb-1990 Sex: Male
Age Now: 20 Height: Unknown
Missing City: EALING Weight: Unknown
Missing County : London Hair Colour: Black

Circumstances: On 5 February 1990 at 6.45pm Mr Paul Glover reported that his son, Ames Glover, had been abducted from his car. Mr Glover had left Ames, aged 5 months, alone on the back seat of his car, a blue Ford Sierra, in South Road, Southall, junction with Hamilton Road. He went to Lloyds bank cash point and then to the 'Kwality' take away curry restaurant in South Road, returning approx. 20 mins later. The car had been locked. Ames was dressed in a blue and yellow coat, light green baby grow, with blue and yellow hat and blue bootees. On discovering his son missing Mr Glover went into Hamilton Estate Agents and called police.


HOANG NGUYEN missing from Worcester Park
Case Type: Missing From Home
Missing Date: 07-Jan-2010 Sex: Male
Age Now: 17 Height: 5'4" (163 cm)
Missing County : Surrey Hair Colour: Black
Eye Colour: Brown

Circumstances: Hoang, who is originally from Vietnam, has not been seen since leaving his address in Worcester Park where he had been staying for 3 days after he entered the UK illegally. He is shown as being 17 years old, although it is possible that he may be older. Hoang is described as oriental appearance, 5'4 tall, stocky build with brown eyes and black short straight hair. When he was last seen he was wearing a navy blue peaked woolley cap, a dark brown puffa jacket and dark coloured trousers.


VERONICA DA COSTA missing from Croydon
Case Type: Missing From Home DOB: 12-Jul-1994
Missing Date: 06-Jul-2009 Sex: Female
Age Now: 15 Height: 5'5" (165 cm)
Missing County : Surrey Hair Colour: Black
Missing Country: United Kingdom Eye Colour:

Circumstances: Veronica Da Costa was last seen at approximately 9.00 am on the 6th of July 2009 when she left her friends address in the Bromley area and has not returned. There are concerns for her safety and wellbeing. Veronica was last known to have been wearing a blue dress, black leggings and flip flops. Contact the Missing Persons Unit at Croydon Police Station if you know the whereabouts of Veronica.
