Levi Bellfield is given a life sentence
One of the country's most notorious serial killers has been given another whole life sentence – for the kidnap and murder of Milly Dowler in Walton.
43-year-old Levi Bellfield has previously been convicted of two other women's murders - which he carried out after he killed the 13-year-old schoolgirl in 2002.
There was a further charge against Bellfield, that he tried to kidnap 11-year-old Rachel Cowles in Shepperton.
But the jury have now been discharged without reaching a verdict –because of the publicity following yesterday's guilty verdict.
