Ashford and St Peter’s hospitals are one step closer to merging with Royal Surrey County

Both trust boards have today approved the proposed business and financial plans for the merger.
The next step is a detailed assessment by health watchdog Monitor.
The earliest start date for the merger would be the summer.
A number of public meetings are being held across the area to discuss plans with residents and patients, details as follows:
