The mother of a girl killed by a train near Chertsey last weekend, has paid tribute to her

18 year old Adreanna Reader from Ascot, was struck by a train at Longcross on Sunday the 13th of November.

Her mum Lisa Bean says she was “ a girl who always brightened up everyone's day with her sensitivity, quick wit and her selflessness.”

Her statement in full;

"She was an outdoorsy kind of girl, vegetarian from a very young age and she absolutely loved animals, she was always plugging the RSPCA and used to dress up her grandfather's dog in pyjamas whenever she could!

As a close family, Adreanna loved her brother, her cousins, her nephews, and she was very close to her grandparents. It's a comfort to know she'll be buried near my mum so she won't be alone.

Adreanna and her big group of friends were like sisters, so we're all devastated together. She was always popular and energetic...and very adept at using social media! She was just so creative and brought out the best in people - always ensuring they were ok.

She did, however, find it hard to express her own inner pain and kept it locked inside. We found it hard to get the help from the system she so needed, especially after her father died in 2010, which she struggled to come to terms with. She didn't have any contact with her dad and when he died, she found it hard that she'd never have a relationship with him.

Adreanna went to college to study performing arts but after coming into contact with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, she took on an apprenticeship and was doing really well there. She always promoted the importance of mental health and I'm proud of her for that.”
