A campaign against a private car park in Ashford town centre brought residents and Councillors onto the streets today

The Ashford Antiques Centre pay and display car park is targeted for unfair treatment of the drivers using the site.

They're accused of not allowing sufficient time for people to buy a ticket, ghost ticketing and even harassment.

There is hope that negotiations with the manager of the car park will lead to new parking wardens being used.

Michelle Arnold, who started the campaign, says this is progress, but there is more that has to be resolved.
