A woman and her mother have been jailed following an assault inside a pub in Cheam
Melissa and Paula Millard were found guilty of GBH after attacking a woman in her 40s at the Harrow Pub in December 2016.
The victim was taken to hospital after suffering facial injuries and serious injuries to her wrist.

Woking Council has agreed a draft plan of sites in the borough for potential development which will be sent to residents for a final consultation.
The Council’s core strategy provides for building nearly 5,000 more homes, along with more retail, office and warehouse space within the borough.
After previous feedback, various sites including Saunders Lane in Heathlands and Upshot Lane in Pyrford were found not suitable for development.

Wandsworth Council is pressing ahead with plans to fit sprinklers in some sheltered housing and temporary accommodation buildings.
A cross-party group of MPs is backing the decision, following advice from the London Fire Brigade.

46 year old Ian Tomlin was attacked on Wednesday afternoon on the Doddington estate.
A community group called Doddington Together successfully applied for a quarter of a million pounds from Wandsworth Council.

Dog owners are being reminded to have their pets microchipped if they want to avoid being fined under a law that came into effect two years ago.
The national regulation is based on rules set by Wandsworth in 2009 for its council tenants who own dogs.
Failure to comply with the law can make owners liable for fines up to £500.

Police have charged two men in connection with the murder of a father of two in Battersea.
46 year-old Ian Tomlin died after a mass brawl outside his flat on the Doddington estate on Wednesday afternoon.
45 year old Michael Swan from Wandsworth and 48 year old Gary Beech from Battersea will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates Court later today.
A post mortem exam on Friday found Mr. Tomlin died from a head injury caused by blunt force trauma.

Fears are growing for the welfare of a 14-year-old girl who was last spotted getting off a train at Kingston more than two weeks ago
Elisha Crimmins, who has been living in a care home in Bedfordshire since last November, was captured on CCTV at 5.07pm on the 4th.
She was pictured seemingly chatting to two men.
Elisha, who is originally from Cardiff, is classed as vulnerable.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murdering a father of two in Battersea
46 year old Ian Tomlin was killed at a block of flats in Charlotte Despard Avenue.
Officers were called at 5.30pm on Wednesday to reports of a group of males fighting on the Doddington Estate.
Police attended along with London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance.
At the scene, the victim was found with injuries after having been assaulted.
He was pronounced dead at the scene some 45 minutes later.
Next of kin have been informed and a post-mortem examination is due to be held this afternoon.

A senior police officer has been sentenced for stalking
47 year old Jose Lagares has been handed a 12 month community order at Wimbledon Magistrate’s Court.
He’s also been ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work and charged £85.
Lagares previously pleaded guilty to one count of stalking.

The force has released figures for offences concerning knives and sharp objects for the year ending in June.
63 incidents were recorded by the force, that’s up on the previous year’s figure of 46.

A lead thief has struck again in New Malden
People in St Mary’s Court in Chestnut Grove woke yesterday to find it had been stripped from the porch above the communal front door.
In August, a 95 year old woman, also in Chestnut Grove, had the material stolen from her roof.
A few days later, a number of houses in nearby Long Walk were also targeted overnight.

The Mayor of Richmond is asking youngsters to design some Christmas cards for him
Two winning children between 5 and 11 will have their designs used as the official cards of the Mayor and Leader this year.
They will also be invited to have tea in the Mayor’s parlour, and will receive some “arty” prizes.
Richmond Mayor Ben Khosa called it “really exciting”.
The design theme is Christmas in Richmond upon Thames and entries must be submitted on A5 paper, either landscape or portrait.
The card should be creative but glitter, or any other protruding items should not be used.
Designs should be submitted to: Mayor's Christmas Card Competition, Mayor's Office, York House, Richmond Road, Twickenham, TW1 3AA.

27 year old Manaf Alahassan was found guilty of assault by beating, and possession of an offensive weapon.
Police were called to Church Street last October after two men became aggressive about the amount of time it was taking to be served.

The latest crime stats have been revealed by Surrey Police
They show a 3.4% rise in recorded crime over the last 12 months.
Violent crime received the largest increase with over 1,900 more offences compared to the previous 12 months.
However, 75% of the 29 thousand violent crimes recorded were “without injury”.
More than 7,500 of the violent crimes were domestic incidents.
The number of serious sexual offences rose by 15% but burglaries in Surrey has reduced by just under 10%.

23 year old Jordan Walker had an undiagnosed heart condition when he collapsed in his gym and died in June last year.
He’d joined the organ donation register after getting his driving license.

39 year old Chirag Patel was found guilty conspiracy to handle stolen goods and possession of criminal property.
The combined worth of the vehicles stolen was over £700,000.
Police are hunting for three men who carried out a burglary in Woking.
The trio, wearing face coverings, entered a house in Kingfield Road last Tuesday stealing cash and jewellery worth more than £4,000.
They used cleaning spray in an attempt to destroy potential forensic evidence, damaging the victim’s clothing and carpets.

He beat Borna Coric 6-3 6-4, and has every chance of overhauling Rafael Nadal for the number one spot before the end of the year.
Djokovic says he can't recall serving better than he has this week.

Kingston Council has set up a team of expert ‘Doctors’ to provide comprehensive checks of residents’ bikes as part of the Go Cycle scheme.
The Dr Bike team is offering advice and help with minor repairs, as well as general maintenance.
The ‘Doctors’ also coordinate sessions alongside the local police Safer Neighbourhoods Teams to raise awareness on bike security.

Major travel disruption continues in Kingston this weekend.
It’s as works on the new Go Cycle scheme get underway.
Last weekend, drivers reported delays of over 2 hours on some approaches to the town centre.
Works this weekend are focussing on the installation of a new cycle ramp in Wheatfield Way.
Collision in Epsom leaves man with serious injuries
Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Epsom which has left a man with serious injuries.
The collision, which involved a blue Jaguar and a skip lorry,happened just before noon at the junction of Church Street and Dulshot Green yesterday.
The driver of the jaguar, a man in his 90s, is in hospital in a serious condition.

Bus cuts will be “a disaster for residents” in Kensington and Chelsea
