Mayor of London Sadiq Khan will today launch a trial of the world's largest air pollution monitoring network.

It will include 100 monitors in schools, on streets lamp posts and at known hot spots.

The trial has been launched ahead of April, when the Ultra Low Emission Zone comes into force in Central London.

Mr Khan then plans to extend it to the South Circular, including parts of Wandsworth, in 2021.
