Surrey County Cricket Club has announced a pre tax profit of £6.3 million for the financial year.

The club hopes the cash, a 42% boost in year on year turnover, will help it weather the Coronavirus storm.

The news follows an historic season that saw the final Ashes Test and five matches in the ICC Cricket World Cup hosted at the Oval.

As well as these matches, Surrey saw continued growth in Membership numbers, T20 Blast sales and events business.
