The money will be used to improve rail services in an area
that has been poorly served by public transport until now.
The investment, awarded by the government Levelling Up Fund,
is especially good news or patients attending the London Cancer Hub.
The station will see improved step free access, better
signage and new walking and cycling routes to the site.
