The items reported to have been stolen included a silver ornament in the shape of a whippet dog with a porcelain and ivory face.

Six burglaries have been reported between the end of July and Saturday the 20th of August.

The items stolen also included a French mantelpiece clock with two dials dating from the 1800’s.

Other items were a Frobisher wall clock dating from around 1850,a wedding band inscribed with a man and woman’s name and a date in

1970. A gold ring with an Amethyst stone surrounded with diamonds. A ruby and diamond ring and a V-shaped diamond ring.

2 Silver picture frames. An old fashioned Shell petrol can with a brass knob.

And finally, a brown fake leather Polo bag containing the victim’s small leather wallet and other personal belongings.

Anyone who finds or is offered or knows someone who has been offered the stolen items should contact Surrey Police on 101 and ask for

Detective Constable Jo Smith or quote crime reference number 45160072371.

A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and burglary and has been given bail until the 20th September while the

investigation continues.
