CEO of Tadworth based The Children's Trust asks for the public's health to help see it through the Coronavirus crisis

The Children's Trust is the UK's leading charity for children with brain injury and neurodisability.

It delivers rehabilitation, education and community services through skilled teams who work with children and young people, and their families.

CEO Dalton Leong says event cancellations due to Covid-19, like the London Marathon, means the charity has lost out on vital fundraising.

He's launched this special appeal to ask Jackie listeners for help keeping the centre running.

Message from Children's Trust on its special appeal amidst the Covid-19 crisis.

The children are extremely vulnerable and we cannot afford to let them down. We must continue our specialist care during these uncertain times – and our dedicated staff are working round the clock to meet the children’s complex needs.

We can’t do this alone. Just as the children need us to be there for them right now, we need you.

The coronavirus pandemic is having a devastating impact on our fundraising. Our charity shops have closed; fundraising events and sporting challenges are cancelled. In the next few months alone, we will miss out on hundreds of thousands of pounds. So we’re relying on our kind supporters more than ever to help.

The best way you can help is to make a donation today, but there are so many other ways you can get involved and help keep our vital services going for children with brain injury. Our work must not stop.
