People who go to or from Kennington Tube Station won’t have to pay to cross zone lines from Sunday

It’s moving from Zone 1 to Zone 1/2, as part of an agreement about fares at Battersea Power Station and Nine Elms tube stops.

It means people won’t have to pay extra as a result of the extension to the Northern Line.

Andy Lord, Managing Director of the London Underground, says it will ensure people “get the best value fare.”
