A 7-year-old refugee from Syria has created a picture book reflecting on how quickly she’s adapted to her new life in Kingston.

Leen was brought to the borough with her family as part of the Government’s Vulnerable Person Resettlement scheme in 2018.

Kingston Council has resettled 44 refugees since agreeing to take in 50 refugees in 2015.
