34-year-old Antony Dines pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 200 hours unpaid work, following the incident in 2016.
This month, the Solicitor Regulation Authority ruled that it was “undesirable” for him to continue to be involved in a legal practice.
He must also pay the SRA’s costs of £300.
