27 year old Rehan Khan attacked Salma Sheikh and their son in June 2018, later admitting two counts of attempted murder.
During the trial, Peterborough Crown Court heard he had tried to the contact her 270 times the day before the attack.
Ms Sheikh died in September after she allegedly took an “unintentional overdose of morphine” for her injuries.
