A pedestrian crossing in Sutton has been permanently painted in rainbow colours to mark pride month.

It’s outside the Civic Centre on St Nicholas Way.

Councillor Jake Short, lead member for equalities, says “pride has always been a protest, so while we may celebrate we need to continue the fight for full equality”.
