A teenager from Putney is bringing back the art of letter writing, while making sure care home residents don’t feel lonely

16-year-old Nina Andersen has set up Community Senior Letters, where schoolchildren write to elderly care home residents in their area.

They can also decorate their letters with drawings, and let their creativity run free.
