A man tried to steal her jewellery as she sat in her car on Weston Green Road at around 5pm on Thursday afternoon, but she managed to prevent it from happening.
Officers from Elmbridge’s Neighbourhood are now trying to find the suspect: a white male in his mid-30s, who’s 5 foot 10 with a stocky build.
He was wearing dark, loose clothing, a black beanie hat and cream gloves and is believed to have been travelling in a small black car.
Police are asking anyone who may have any information of dashcam footage to call them on 101.
