Chelsea boss Emma Hayes says being crowned domestic champions capped off a fantastic season for women's football.

They took the WSL title on a points-per-game basis, overtaking Manchester City - who were top of the table when Covid-19 stopped all action in March.

Hayes says there was no easy way to decide how the campaign should be concluded.
