29 year old Thomas Ryan appeared in court on Tuesday and has been released on bail until his next court appearance next month.
The robbery is alleged to have taken place on the 9th of May in Sanger Avenue.
A woman, aged in her late teens, was allegedly robbed of her phone and handbag while she was walking home.
