Hospitals including Epsom and St Peter’s are creating a digital record of patients, meaning people don’t have to repeat their story several times.
Dr Andy Sharpe says “this is particularly important if you are taken seriously ill or in an accident and unable to describe your medical history”.
The Surrey Heartlands Partnership hopes to build the record with more hospitals in the coming months.
