It could allow its buildings to be used by children from other schools who have missed out on learning opportunities during the pandemic.
A letter offering help has been sent to the government by the Independent School’s Council which represents around 1,300 schools.
If the courses go ahead, it’s thought the site on Wimbledon Common would cover the costs itself.
