Kingston Council has been invited by the Government to become a “flagship authority” in ending homelessness.

The authority is one of a number of councils to receive part of a £700,000 grant to help it take action.

£400 million has been made available nationally to fund 6,000 new homes and take rough sleepers off the streets during the pandemic.
