McDonalds in North Cheam is to reinstate security officers at weekends following a backlash from residents

The fast food chain started re-opening certain restaurants last month, with three-hour traffic jams reported at the Cheam site.

This led the restaurant to hire Phoenix Security, however, the team was retired after a week.

Now, the restaurant’s manager has agreed to bring back security staff at peak times to help alleviate traffic problems.
