People with a lot of stress are more likely to die due to Covid-19, according to a new study.


Researchers at Imperial College London have shown those with a high level of the hormone cortisol had an average survival of just 15 days.

They’ve gathered data from hospitals including Charing Cross and Hammersmith.

The team behind it says it can be used to tell who needs to be admitted to hospital immediately.
