George Brooksbank stayed at hospitals including the Royal Brompton in Chelsea during his ordeal.
He says “there was always somebody at hand” and he wants to offer “profound thanks to everyone who was involved”.
The Princess says they have “kept us all safe and well whilst sacrificing so much”.
