vCreate is a video messaging service allowing staff in the neonatal unit to send updates to parents at home.
The team recently sent its 1,000th photo of baby Freya from her cot, at 99 days old, to her relatives.
The hospitals says the service has proved invaluable during times when visiting has been restricted during Covid-19.
