The All England Lawn Tennis Club has “stepped up to the plate” to provide food for those in need.

They’ll be preparing and packaging 200 hot meals a day for people in Merton and Wandsworth.

The dishes would have been served at this year’s Wimbledon.

Executive Chef Adam Fargi says “we’re glad they’ve been put to good use”.
