The Crown Prosecution Service has been asked to review evidence in the death of a London railway worker

The Crown Prosecution Service has been asked to review evidence in the death of a London railway worker after receiving “wider public interest”.

Belly Mujinga was reportedly spat at by man claiming to have coronavirus in Victoria station in March and died of coronavirus a few weeks later.

The British Transport Police had said there was insufficient evidence to support a prosecution, while the man in question also gave a negative antibody test.

More than a million people have signed a petition in support of Ms Mujinga.

The public reaction comes amid anger over the death of George Floyd in the US.
