The government still has a “long way to go” in stripping all high-rise buildings of dangerous cladding that was found in the Grenfell tower

Three years since the tower block in Kensington burnt down and killed 72 people, the National Audit Office says removal work remains for at least 300 buildings.

Of the 455 buildings identified to be covered, only 155 have successfully had the cladding removed.

The government has said it’s provided £1.6bn for cladding removal.
