The work on London Road is part of the Croydon Streetspace initiative, introducing a segregated cycle lane and a 20mph limit.
Croydon Council has received a £300,000 grant from TfL to create cycle lanes between St James’s Road and Thornton Heath Pond.
Streetspace is designed to incentivise cyclists and pedestrians to get out and exercise safely.
