A council meeting in Sutton has revealed there was a 3-month delay in supplying laptops to the borough’s schoolchildren

The government announced laptops would be distributed a month after schools went into lockdown on the 20th of March.

But it has been confirmed that Sutton’s children did not receive their share until the end of last month.

The authority says the delay has resulted in further educational disruption to disadvantaged children.
