Johnsons opened its doors fifty years ago, but came under pressure from online shopping and rising rents.
It went insolvent in May and outlets including New Malden and Richmond have closed, with around 105 staff members dropped.
However, 70 jobs have been saved after it was bought out by Daniel Footwear.
