A major refurbishment of Wandsworth Bridge is just days away.

The works are part of a £6 million scheme due to begin earlier this year but postponed because of Coronavirus.

Phase one, which starts on July 20th, is expected to last around two months, involving work to the surface.

A further ten months of works on the underside of the bridge will then take place but this shouldn’t cause too much disruption for the public.
