A man is in a critical condition in hospital, following an assault in Mitcham

Reports say the man in his early 30s “staggered” into hospital, with multiple stab wounds.

Police say they were called at 5.30 yesterday evening to Upper Green East to an assault, but they couldn’t find a victim.

There have been no arrests.
