A petition to save animal hospitals in London is nearing 10,000 signatures, and a crowdfunder has raised over £4,000

The RSPCA says a severe drop in donations means that centres including Putney Animal Hospital might have to close.

The centre treats over 7,500 animals each year, and is the only 24-hour animal hospital in London.

Putney MP Fleur Anderson is speaking to the RSPCA today, and presenting her separate petition to them.
