A PhD student at Roehampton is helping amputees keep active during lockdown


People with lower limb amputation usually need training in a clinic with special equipment, and direct observation.

Miranda Asher is now holding video sessions with her clients that include exercises they can do while seated, and give advice to help them walk.

She says “everyone needs activity to support health, and the key is working within their current abilities and building upon them”.
