A primary school in Tooting has won a double award for its work supporting families and children with disabilities

Penwortham School won in the National Educational Needs and Disabilities Awards in the “Partnership with Parents” category.

The school has 647 pupils who between them speak 39 different languages.

This follows another success in May, when it was named as a Centre of Excellence in The Quality Mark Inclusive Schools Award
