Police were called just before 3am yesterday to Green Lane, where 32-year-old Nathan Mitra was found with serious injuries.
Despite the efforts of medics, he was pronounced dead an hour later.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them on 101, or contact Crimestoppers to stay anonymous.
