Councils are cracking down on littering in public parks, after a massive spike since lockdown was eased

More than half of the country’s parks have had to pull in extra resources to do clear-ups, bin emptying, and maintaining public order.

Epsom Councillor Barry Nash says, “staff with many years of experience working in parks claim they have never known a period as bad as this.”

Meanwhile in Hounslow, Councillor Samia Chaudhary asks you to, “clear up after yourself and take rubbish back home for recycling.”
