Leader Stephen Alambritis says the financial aid package from Number 10 will cover less than 75% of losses.
He says “that’s far too much for any local area to absorb”.
Councillor Alambritis also warns that “losses to local budgets are far from over” as consumer confidence is low and the risk of a second wave “is there”.
