Enquiries are continuing after a four-year-old girl from Mitcham died, and a 35-year-old woman was left with life-threatening injuries

The air ambulance and police were called yesterday afternoon to Monarch Road.

No arrests have been made, and officers aren’t currently looking for anyone else.

Police say a post-mortem will take place in due course.
