It’s emerged two police officers who helped break up a rave in Hammersmith earlier this month, delivered a baby hours earlier.
PC Siobhan Singh and PC Isabella Taborro spotted a car being driven erratically in central London on the evening of Friday the 3rd of July.
The officers caught up with the vehicle outside University College Hospital where it had come to a halt.
Upon approaching the car, they discovered the reason for the manner of driving; the driver’s wife was about to give birth.
The two officers delivered the baby girl in the front seat of the car.
They then made their way to the unlicensed music event in Hammersmith where they were attacked by revellers.
The officers received injuries to their shoulder and ankle and are recuperating.
