Lady Wimbledon talks to Jackie News about how Wimbledon is coping without the annual tennis fortnight

Wimbledon, and the world, would usually be in the grip of tennis fever by now.

Around 500,000 people usually visit SW19 during tennis fortnight, which has been cancelled this year due to Coronavirus.

The 134th Championships will instead be staged from the 28th of June to the 11th of July 2021.

Businesses in the Village and town centre are now having to find other ways of recouping lost revenue, with many pubs, bars, restaurants and shops quickly adapting to their "new normal."

Sandra Strachan, otherwise known as Lady Wimbledon, has been chatting with Jackie's Emily Dexter about how the town is coping without tennis.
