The government announced yesterday that due to a rise in cases in the country, people must quarantine themselves for 14 days when they return.
Kingston MP and acting Lib-Dem leader Sir Ed Davey says it’s “outrageous”, and “the government must support people stuck in quarantine through no fault of their own”.
The government is asking employers to be flexible, and not penalise employees for following the rules.
