The coronavirus infection rate seems to have risen sharply in parts of Surrey and South West London, according to Public Health England.

Epsom & Ewell’s seen an almost four-fold increase in the first week of July, and in neighbouring Mole Valley it’s three times higher than it was.

Wandsworth and Richmond have also seen a noticeable rise in coronavirus cases.
