The Lib Dem candidate for Mayor of London is throwing her weight behind a campaign to extend the Piccadilly Line service.

Siobhan Benita wants tube trains to stop at Turnham Green station in Chiswick during the day.

The Piccadilly Line tube signalling upgrade, which would allow this, has been delayed indefinitely due to a lack of funding within TfL.

Residents have been fighting for the upgrade for over twenty years and have launched a petition to get the work started.
