The Metropolitan Police says seven officers have been injured after trying to break up an unlicensed music event in Hammersmith

Officers tried to order crowds to leave before the group became hostile and began throwing items at police.

Specially trained public order officers were called to disperse the group and stop the continued violence.

No arrests have been made at this time. Scotland Yard has reiterated the fact that mass gatherings are illegal.
