Vehicle thefts in Britain are continuing to rise - with figures showing the number stolen is up by 56 percent in the last four years


Many forces in more rural areas have also seen big increases.

In Surrey in 2014 there were 661 thefts, but 1,543 last year.

Some of the surge is being blamed on thieves targeting mopeds and motorbikes.
